Uncontained Consumption: Sea Foam

Our oceans are turning into dumpsters. Each and every minute the equivalent of one garbage truck worth of plastic is dumped into the ocean. Uncontained Consumption is a collection created to raise awareness about how our consumption of goods is both metaphorically and literally turning our oceans into dumpsters. Sea Foam creates white sea foam out of paint splatter creating textured waves littered with what appears to be bits and pieces of styrofoam. This image was created by combining bits and pieces of five different photographs of dumpster walls, digitally collaged using Photoshop resulting in new oceanscape inspired by Pacific waves.
